Summer camp offers the scouts the opportunity to experience the wilderness, work with others in patrols, earn merit badges and advance in rank. Swimming and canoeing are offered and encouraged—summer camp offers a great opportunity for both.

The scouts take a 5 mile hike in the Sierra, learn orienteering, first aid, life saving, pioneering, cooking, nature, basketry and other skills. There are patrol contests such as canoe races, wood chopping and the two-man saw. The scouts enjoy games like two-ball and the very popular white bomb.

Parents are encouraged to join us at summer camp—it’s a great experience for all!
