Every year the Pacific Skyline council holds their Gold Rush event at Boulder Creek Scout Reservation. Gold Rush is a council run event that is themed around the gold rush and the Wild West. Scouts had a great time doing activities like panning for gold, blacksmithing, steer roping, and shooting cowboy guns. The troop drank a lot of root beer and sang songs in the saloon and we all enjoyed a great campfire program together.
