Troop 27’s June outing was a great weekend including outdoor adventure and Scout skills. On the first day, scouts went canoeing and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings. During Scouts’ Own, everyone had a chance to slow down and appreciate the natural beauty around them. Throughout the weekend, scouts also worked toward different Scout rank requirements, such as firemen chit. The troop also practiced teamwork through projects such as building a shade structure. Overall, the outing was a fun and meaningful experience that combined skills and appreciation for the outdoors.
