On Saturday May 23 2026, Troop 27 went to Sly Park Hills for Family Camp! Troop 27 brought along family and friends to participate in canoeing and swimming. The scouts also did pioneering, Totin’ Chip and Firem’n Chit. Many new scouts learned fire and wood tools safety while the ones who have learned fire and wood tools safety focused on pioneering, and used their skills to build a table with benches. The families had a lot of fun and got to go canoeing and hiking.

On April 24 2026, Troop 27 went to the Pacific Skyline Council’s annual Camporee at Boulder Creek. Troop 27 came with 5 patrols and Crew 27. The scouts had lots of fun in the events where they competed with tomahawks, archery, and theme based activities! This year’s theme was Jurassic Park! The troop showed lots of patrol and troop spirit with varying yells. A lot of newer scouts learned interesting skills and had tons of fun. Most of the patrols placed in the activities.
