As the first outing of 2026, the troop went on an overnight camping trip at Uvas Canyon in which scouts participated in a four mile hiking trip through the outdoors, enjoying the nice weather and good views throughout the campgrounds. The youth leadership also ran a cooking competition between patrols and a first aid scenario to test and teach scout skills. The youth enjoyed friendly competition and camaraderie as they worked together to accomplish goals, altogether being abetted in their learning while also having a ball. It was both a challenging and invigorating experience to the many new scouts who are in the troop.
