Gold Rush 2025

From September 26th to the 28th, the scouts attended the annual council event at boulder creek scout reservation, Gold Rush Adventure, a wild west themed two night camp out. With a plethora of events including: panning for gold, archery, blacksmithing, cowboy action, and the newly added minecart racing. The troop explored the various activities, purchased root beer and trinkets from the saloon and various stores, some participating in the gold rush challenge or competition. In the evening, the troops gathered for a campfire with songs and skits, and later an ice cream social together in the saloon.

2025 Camporee

Troop 27 brought three patrols along with Crew 27 to Boulder Creek Scout Reservation for the Pacific Skyline Council’s annual Camporee! Scouts enjoyed a survival-themed competition with events such as smoke signals, snares, tarp structures, and orienteering, alongside classic events like tomahawks, knots, and pioneering. The scouts had a great time building patrol spirit with amazing yells and teamwork, and helped out with cleaning latrines and trail maintenance after the competition, promoting cheerful service.
